Adobe Plugin Failed to Install

I am trying to use Chrome to view several website that require an Adobe plugin. Chrome prompts me to install the plugin, but then always says is failed. Help please!

Go to the website http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and download the Adobe Flashplayer than close your browser. Go to your download and install Adobe Flashplayer. This should remove the Adobe Flashplayer plugin error. You can test this by trying to watch any video at http://ca.youtube.com/
